What file formats does Media Server support?

It supports the following main file formats:

  • Video files with the extension: .avi, .mp4, .mkv, .mpg, .mpeg, .wmv, .m4v, .flv, .mov, .3gp, webm, etc.

  • Audio files with the extension: .mp3, .ogg, .flac, .wav, .pcm, .wma, .fla, .aac, etc.

  • Image files with the extension: .jpg, .jpeg.

  • Playlist files with the extension: .m3u, .pls.

  • Subtitles files with the extension: .srt, .smi.

Some formats are unsupported, such as WebM (.webm) multimedia files or DSD/SACD audio files (.dff, .dsf).
