What’s in the Box

Connection (Fig. A)
Connect your Keenetic PoE+ Switch 9 (hereinafter ‘switch’) to the power source. Check that Power LED C is illuminated.
Connect Network Port 0 to an upstream router or switch with an Ethernet cable (not included in the package). Check that corresponding Link LED R is illuminated.
Connect PoE Network Port 1–8 to a powered device, such as a Wi-Fi access point, IP phone or IP camera. Check that PoE LED O and Link LED R are illuminated. The quality and length of the Ethernet cabling may affect the power received and the data rate. Use Cat.5e or better Ethernet cables.

Link LEDs R
Solid orange — A network device is connected.
Blinking orange — Transferring data.
Off — No device is connected.
PoE LEDs O
Solid green — The switch is supplying power to a connected device.
Off — No 802.3af/at-compliant device is connected.
Power LED C
Solid green — The switch is operating properly.
Off — The switch is not connected to the power supply.
PoE Network Ports 1–8
These 10/100/1000 Mbps ports provide power and data to 802.3af/at-compliant devices. The switch can deliver up to 30 W for each PoE port and 120 W total. Non-PoE devices can also be connected to the PoE ports.
Network Port 0
This 10/100/1000 Mbps port is for connecting to an upstream switch or router.
DC Power Socket
For use with the power adapter supplied in the package, 55 VDC / 2.55 A.
Grounding Terminal
The switch comes with built-in electrostatic discharge protection. If possible, connect the switch to the grounding bar for extra safety.

Operating humidity: 20 to 90% non-condensing;
Storage temperature range: –30 to +70°C;
Storage humidity: 10 to 90% non-condensing.
Safety
Your switch is ONLY for indoor use — NEVER use it outdoors. Never use the switch in an enclosed space, and ensure that it is easily accessible. Stop using any damaged switch IMMEDIATELY. The switch contains no user-serviceable parts — DO NOT OPEN. Keep the switch away from water, excessive humidity or heat, and direct sunlight.

See keenetic.com for details of the original EU declaration. According to EC regulation 1275/2008, the power consumption in standby mode is 3.7 W.
Disposal
Do not dispose of your switch, including power adapter and cables, with your other household waste. Contact your local authority for disposal information.
